This book is designed as a textbook. It aims to provide an accessible introduction to the economics of animal welfare.
I hope it will help inspire a chapter on animals in broader courses such as agricultural economics, environmental economics, benefit-cost analysis, welfare theory, ecology, animal welfare or corporate social responsibility.
It is available here at CUP.
I am putting on this page various sets of slide, all free to use for teachers, students, and colleagues. [Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need the source document (beamer, ppt) for the slides.]
